100 Healing Foods: Find Wellness in Good for you food

Full Disclosure

There are detoxes, fast, nutritional plans, and programs out there to help remedy a common ailment in American culture, and that is gut health but not as much emphasis on the healing foods that already exist. No one talks about the healing food that God gave us. Daily, more and more information is shared about how to heal your gut. I often have written about my gut health journey. Four years on this journey, I am finally at a point where I can say I have good gut health and want to help others.

As a certified personal trainer and certified fitness nutrition specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, it is out of my scope of practice to diagnose or offer treatment for any gut ailments. Out of good conscience, I also recommend you see a professional doctor, nutritionist, and registered dietician.

This post informs you of factual information on foods that can help improve your gut health. Adding these foods to your diet in proper portions has been proven to help.

My Journey to Healing

When I began my weight loss journey, I often suffered from upset stomach, diarrhea, constipation, acid reflux, constant bloating, and gas. I also had severe seasonal allergy symptoms like itchy, watery eyes, postnasal drip, and relentless cough. I would get painful stomach cramps, headaches, and lethargy when I ate food. It came to a point where I didn’t want to eat for fear of the reaction.

All the Test

I also ate healthy foods like yogurt, cottage cheese, cream of wheat, and whole wheat grains. Finally, I sought a doctor for help. We started with blood tests for multiple gastrointestinal issues. We tried an elimination diet of dairy products, which subsided some symptoms; I had allergy testing for foods and pollens. To conclude that I didn’t have Celiacs, I was lactose intolerant, I had an allergy to wheat, and a couple of pollens found in fruits like pineapples. Who knew?

Becoming my Advocate

Then I went on my advocacy. I attended IDEA World Blog Fest 2016, and Melissa Hartwig of Whole 30  spoke and autographed her new Whole 30 book. I began the successful September start she does every year. After ten restarts of the restrictive diet plan. I was amazed at my results. Not physical but the way my body felt. I was no longer in pain after eating. Food gave me energy instead of making me extremely tired. My mood and clarity had improved, and it felt so good. Until recently, I never realized the power of food until undergoing the almost 50-day journey. (I can be a slow adopter sometimes).

I also saw changes in my complexion, hair, and nails and was hooked. After the Whole 30 Program, I was aware of food’s effects on my body. As I added grains, I realized that not all foods served my body well. For other people, it’s okay, but for my digestive symptoms, it was a trigger. Here I am four years later, and I am fully aware of what I can and shouldn’t eat.

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink;

or about your body, what you will wear. Is life more than food, and the body more than clothes?”

Matthew 6:25

You can’t live life on a diet.

There is so much to concern yourself about than what you will eat. Adding foods that will nourish your body and reducing or eliminating the food that is sustaining your body are two different things. Quick heat and processed foods maintain your body, giving you the necessary calories. Nutrient-dense food fuels your body and gives it the nutrients it needs to be at optimal performance. Rather than keeping it fed so, you can continue to go.

What I eat

I eat a lot of food, but it’s mostly good food. I eat chips, donuts, french fries, and other C.R.A.P. C.R.A.P.om from time to time, but I mostly eat foods that nourish my body, and that’s what I usually crave good food.   I am still exploring and trying because I am just curious, but when it’s all said and done, God gave us everything we need to survive. If we eat the healing foods God gave us in the amount that we should, it can not only heal us but also help us reach our goals.

“For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it consecrated by the Word of God and prayer.” 1 Timothy 4:4

We all know what to eat, when, and how much, but what about the why?

Food has a purpose; if you use it for fuel, you wouldn’t have to be on a diet. You wouldn’t crave the things that didn’t serve you because, ultimately, your cravings are your body’s way of alerting you of what it needs. Eating a nutritious or biblically-based diet will help you overcome your cravings, burn fat, resolve gut ailments, and honor your temple.

So, I put together six foods to help improve your adding these F.O.O.D.S. loving C.R.A.P. C.R.A.P.lp healing your gut, body, and mind. Making a lifestyle change and adding these 100 Healing foods will help you honor your temple and serve your body well.

Healing foods to add to your diet

Gut Health

Digestive disorders are prevalent but often not spoken about because we learn to keep potty talk in the potty in kindergarten. The gut is the second brain regulating your mental and physical health by cells found in the gut microbiome. We are keeping a balance of “good” bacteria and “harmful bacteria.

People with an imbalance of too much “bad” bacteria often are diagnosed with diseases like; Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative Colitis, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (I.B.S.), whI.B.S. my blood test had ruled out Praise God. There is a link between gut bacteria and high cholesterol, which can cause heart disease. It has also been linked to kidney disease.

Gut Microbiome

The gut microbiome has also been linked to affecting the way you feel and the way your brain processes information you gather from your five senses. Studies are currently being done to see how your gut microbiome affects diseases like autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, and depression. It’s also being studied to see if there is an association between the gut microbiome and chronic pain. It is so important to keep your gut healthy.

An Unhealthy balance in your gut has been associated with heart disease, obesity or weight gain, kidney disorders, depression, and anxiety. So feeding your gut healthy foods can help your overall wellness. Reducing and eliminating processed food with artificial sweeteners, flavors, and colors and adding gut-healthy foods can begin the journey to improve gut health.

Anti-Inflammatory

Inflammation is the way our body’s immune system defends itself. Without inflammation, our organization would not fight off diseases and treat wounds. The problem is not the initial inflammation. It’s the prolonged inflammation or if there is inflammation in the body that is not needed. Chronic inflammation can lead to severe diseases like stroke, heart diseases, and autoimmune disorders like lupus. So reducing the unwanted inflammation is ideal. Many processed foods we consume cause unnecessary inflammation; reducing these healing foods and adding an anti-inflammatory diet can help.

Prebiotics

I am all about Prebiotics this year since learning of the necessity for optimal gut health. Prebiotics are fibers that the body cannot digest, but they are food for probiotics that help support gut bacteria. Think of prebiotics as a probiotic food. Adding these healing foods to your diet can be beneficial to feeding the probiotics in your body.

Probiotics

Probiotics are live bacteria that serve your gut to help it digest well; they are considered helpful in the digestive process.

Hormonal Balancing

Did you know that we have over 100 hormones in the body that constantly check and balance each other? The American lifestyle is wreaking havoc on our hormones. It is so involved, and you must consider what you eat, the chemicals you put on your body or use to clean your surroundings, your stress level, and contraception methods. All are factors in a balanced hormone. Hormone imbalance can affect you in so many ways. Your sleep, skin, energy level, digestion, brain clarity, mood, weight, appetite, headaches, mental health, aging process, and so much more. Hormonal balancing takes multiple steps and has many contributing factors, but one unanimous suggestion is that diet change helps balance hormones. Removing sugar and adding these foods into your diet can help you to better hormonal balance.

Thermogenic

You can eat foods that can naturally increase your metabolism and burn fat. “Diet-induced” thermogenesis is the process of the body utilizing the food it has eating and converting those calories to heat. It’s a tiny percentage, but it’s an additional boost to your physical activity calorie burn by eating the right food. Post or pre-workout is another consideration for the timing to eat these foods.

Healing Foods

Foods can be your friend or foe, but ultimately, what you put in your body affects your feelings. I would encourage you to add a few, some, or all of these foods to your diet. They will ultimately help your body operate at its best. I wouldn’t try to do all 100 foods at once but check off the ones you eat, eat more of that, and then add a new food every week. Some you will love, and some you will detest, but at least you are trying to be well.

What is the most incredible food that you see on this list? Do you think you could add some of these foods to your diet?

How do you make Rainbow Swiss Chard?

Rainbow Swiss Chard

Rainbow Swiss Chard is easy to grow, very versatile to cook, and very nutritious to eat. I have been gardening for a few years now. You think I am geeky about fitness I am a bigger garden geek. I try to contain it in public.  My husband once teased me because I watched an over 2 hour documentary on “dirt” (It’s actually soil, but I didn’t want to sound geeky and correct him) So, yeah I prep, plan, prepare and reap all year round.

Rainbow Swiss Chard is so easy to grow and a great starter crop for beginning gardeners! It’s also a really great green, but it’s a little earthy in flavor, and it’s not a favorite in my house until I tried a Tasty recipe one day.  Of course, I had a few of my adaptation, and from there I started making different kinds of Rainbow Swiss Chard rolls, and now my abundant garden green is a weekly rotation and an excellent source of nutrients. A member of my Bibles and Bootcamp shared a Swiss Chard Roll Recipe with our group I had to try it but with my own spin. Now I have four delicious Swiss Chard Roll Recipes I want to share; it’s actually one excellent recipe with four delicious fillings.

Some Rainbow Swiss Chard Facts

Rainbow Swiss chard is known as a “nutritional powerhouse” vegetable; kind of like that superfood category that is recently gaining momentum. In my opinion, everything that comes from the ground that is edible is a superfood they’re all packed with many micronutrients. This power green is packed with vitamins, nutrients, and so many health benefits. Just add this to your grocery list now! It’s a really adaptable green and is rich in Vitamin C, K, E, Manganese, Zinc and Beta Carotene; which I have written about before, but what’s it claims to fame it’s high levels of Betalin.

Betalin is the rainbow in the swiss chard. The pigment that goes up the veins of the Swiss Chard whether it’s a vibrant red, orange, yellow or white.  Betalin pigments occur naturally and are very effective detoxification.  It helps to engage and process unwanted toxins that we have in our bodies.  Be cautious when cooking your Rainbow Chard that you don’t overcook the vegetable will lose the effectiveness of the Betalin.

Swiss chard has an earthy taste, and I personally like the stalks better than the leaves.  I saute the entire thing cut up stems and all and put in my eggs or eating them as a veggie.

Try one, two, or all four, and let me know what you think! All of these recipes feed a family of 5

To Assemble Rainbow Swiss Chard Rolls

  1. Make a pot of salted water. A pinch will due or 1/2 tsp for 6 cups of water.
  2. Once water is brought to a rolling boil remove from heat.
  3. Immerse 4 to 6 leaves in boiling water for 1 minute to blanch them.  Remove from water and blot dry with a paper towel.  I like to lay mine on a paper towel to dry off more while preparing other leaves.
  4. Place the leaves face down. Add about 1/4 cup of filling in the center of each rollup and start rolling from large end to narrow like a burrito.
  5. Place Rainbow Swiss Chard rolls in a steamer basket and steam for 6 to 8 minutes.

Detox with Food

The best way to detox with food is to be intentional about choosing food that helps rid your body of toxins and adds nutrients for you to thrive.

Check out my post about 100 healing foods

How I detox with food

My favorite way to detox is to eat. I never knew that you could detox by just using what God has given us. I always thought you had to take a supplement or a special tea/ It never occurred to me that God created foods that do even better than those magic solutions. There are a few things that you can detox, and vegetable infused water may not exactly get it done. It’s nice to add different flavors to your water, especially if you’re consuming half your body weight in water a day. But it’s not going to be solely responsible for cleansing your body. You’re not receiving all the nutrients of those water and vegetable combinations through infusion. Water is the best way to detox, but there are also veggies and fruits.

Vegetables can help you detox

Cruciferous veggies are members of the cabbage family.  These veggies contain phytochemicals, vitamins, minerals, and fibers that are important to your health.  Vegetables have been recommended by various health agencies that we eat several servings per week for numerous reasons.

  1. They help lower cancer risk
  2. They help you with oxidative stressis the overload of harmful molecules called oxygen-free radicals, which are generated by the body. Reducing these free radicals may reduce the risk of colon, lung, prostate, breast, and other cancers.
  3. They help protect against cardiovascular disease
  4. They contain Vitamin A, C, E, and folic acid, which helps reduce chronic inflammation. Diets that are high in wine and coffee but high in sugar, sweetened soft drinks, refined grains, and processed meat. All things that are prevalent in Easter dinner feast.

How to cook vegetables to get the most benefit?

  • Stop overcooking your cruciferous vegetables.  They should be bright and vibrant green not dark green after cooking.  They also can produce a strong sulfur odor and become unappealing and why most people don’t like cruciferous vegetables.
  • You can buy several types of cruciferous vegetables ready-to-eat in the frozen or freshly packaged sections of your supermarket, including broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts. Fresh is best but this is a great option if you don’t have access to fresh vegetables.
  • Make sure you get plenty of dark green broccoli or snowy white cauliflower florets when nibbling on veggie platters.  They often get neglected but are the best choices out of all the options.
  • Add raw broccoli or cauliflower florets to your green salad to give the nutrients a big boost.
  • Cruciferous vegetables can be easily added to soups, stews, and casseroles.
  • When you are looking for cruciferous vegetables specifically fresh broccoli. Look for firm florets with purple, dark green, or bluish hue on the top. These vegetables contain more beta-carotene and vitamin C than florets with lighter green tops. If you broccoli is yellow or the stalk is limp-put it down-don’t buy it!

Other Options or Additional Detox

Fruits can help with detox far better than any supplement. Berries such as cranberries, blueberries, strawberries are antioxidants that are great in salads, shakes, and snacks. If you’re detoxing from some indulgent eating. A new thing that I am in love with is avocado seed powder. Adding this can rid you of toxins in your body. It is effortless to add to your diet and tasteless if you want to add it to any meal, shake, and coffee/tea.

AvocadoSeedPowder

My body feels better when I eat the right foods. Depriving myself or using “special cleanse potions” that were formulated in a lab usually don’t have the same effect. This stir fry is my detox stir fry. A super berry smoothie and some “detox stir fry,” and I am usually feeling a little better about my poor weekend decisions. When you clean your body with God’s goodness, after an Easter where you may have indulged too much in sweets and sodium-rich foods. You will feel less regret and will not negate your bad decisions. Choosing a healthy way to cleanse your body can set you on the path towards better choices.

LifeWay Women’s Christian Standard Bible

I received this Bible  in exchange for a review as a Front Gate Media Blogger. I have amazon affiliate links that I receive a commission from the sales, but all of my opinions are my own. My Full Disclosure Policy

2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV) For God has not given us a spirit of timidity but of power and love and discipline

Don’t let Bible versions intimidate you from reading the Bible

I remember growing up reading the King James Version of the Bible and thinking it was the equivalent of Shakespeare. Eloquent words strung together that I couldn’t understand or follow; It was intimidating. Then I grew up spiritually. I enjoyed listening to sermons and reading books about devotion and faith, but when it came to the Bible. I will have to admit it became intimidating and scary. I joined a Bible studies group and still owned that same KJV Bible I had been carrying with me since I left for college.

While in Bible Study, people would read the verses clearly in a language I could understand. Say what? I would try to follow my KJV, still lost and confused. Until one day, I noted their version of the Bible and immediately sought the help of Amazon.com. Oh, the options, so many to choose from; deciding on an NIV (New International Version) for myself and NLT (New Living Translation) for my daughter. Since then, I have purchased an Amplified Bible (AMP) and have become a little Bible-obsessed. I now have many versions in my collection. You can easily download an app to get cross-references, but I enjoy turning pages.

Trying something new

Recently, I received the LifeWay Women’s Christian Standard Bible, and I love it. It was at the perfect timing when I was feeling the need to study in a different version. The LifeWay Women’s Bible is such a delight. It’s the “something new” I was seeking. What makes the LifeWay Women’s Bible different from other Bibles I have is that there are many additional bonuses. Hundreds of devotionals, character profiles, plenty of space to journal and take notes, and the maps are so vivid.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Devotionals in the LifeWay Christian Standard Bible

I read an alarming statistic that about 11% of people who profess to be believers read the Bible. Many don’t find the relevance or a connection to reading the Word. First, the Bible is a way for us to see the character of God and get direction from God, and we can usually find a relatable circumstance in the Word of God. It is just as relevant now as it was in Biblical times, and most people’s confusion can be found in the living Word.

If that is not enough encouragement for you to read your Bible, the LifeWay Christian Women’s Christian Standard Bible has over a hundred devotionals through the Bible that is a reinforcement of the Scripture reading. For example, the corresponding page of Joshua 1 has a devotional on how to Meditate. Reading devotionals and character profiles helps to bring the Word to life. The devotionals are written by LifeWay’s amazing women like Priscilla Shirer,

Joshua 1:8  Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

What makes the Lifeway Women?

Reading the Bible can be intimidating. The LifeWay Women’s Bible makes reading the Bible accessible and applicable to daily life. It doesn’t seem like words that can’t be applied today. It gives you additions to make the Word relevant. We know the Word is true now and forever, but when you’re first trying to read the Bible, it’s nice to have these additions.

A little extra help is, okay!

Character Profiles are an excellent way for readers to relate to the story. I love the different character profile commentaries written by other female theologians. The maps are so detailed and bright. It makes it easy to see where characters traveled and brings context to what you’re reading.

We need the Truth from the Word

When I first came to Christ, no one took me under, showings and showed me these things, or told me I could use a different version of the Bible. Not that I needed permission, but I did need guidance. I was looking for a mentoring program but never found one. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we had a Titus Women type mentorship in the Church? Many churches have it, but mine does not, I even asked and never was connected with anyone so I had to seek out mentors myself. Online Bible Teachers became a great source. It’s not ideal but in this disconnected world. It’s nice to find a community somewhere, even ifWesternn world; we must use every necessary tool t in this modern world to get the Truth. There is salvation in the Word and so much to learn and grow you need to find a Bible the one that allows you to understand. I am grateful for Bibles that make the Word easier to read and more accessible. This Bible is a new addition to the LifeWay Bible Collection, and I highly recommend you get it or gift it to someone you love.

Have you let your lack of knowledge or understanding keep you from the Word?

The Faith Collection from Momentum Jewelry designed by FaithFueled Mom

Over the years, there have been many fantastic opportunities I contribute all to God’s plan.  The new release of the Faith Collection from Momentum Jewelry is another God wink.

I was asked to help design the new Faith Line from Momentum Jewelry.  Momentum Jewelry is a workout-friendly jewelry company that shares motivational sayings to inspire you on your adventures.  In May, they will be adding the new Faith Collection designed by FaithFueled Mom.  It’s a significant opportunity that I prayed for and was very intentional. Each piece was chosen explicitly from Biblical Scriptures and stories.  I wanted to share the seven wraps (which, if you’ve been following me, you know I do everything in seven because it’s the complete number).  There are seven new motivational wraps, mySparks, miniSparks, and charms that you can choose or design your customized color wrap to inspire and motivate you on your fitness journey.

I was prayerful on each design.  They each have a significance and not just Scripture to encourage, but a story found in the Bible that supports the encouragement. Throughout my weight loss, fitness, and wellness journey God’s word has been pivotal in giving me direction on how to honor my temple. I do little things to fix my eyes on the Lord throughout the day.  I pray often. Not just in the morning and at night but throughout the day. I reread Scripture not just morning or at night but throughout the day. Whether it’s the Power Verse for the week or if it’s something that comes up in my day. I usually have a Bible on my desk for access because I am old school. But I also have the Bible app for when I don’t have a physical Bible.

God’s word can breathe life into you, much like people listening to affirmations.

These seven designs have been prayed over, and I am excited to share them.

She will not fail

“God is within her, she will not fail; God will help her at the break of day.” Psalm 46:5

I know you have heard the saying, “Failing isn’t final,” but failing isn’t even an option when you have God within you. It has nothing to do with who we are and everything with God.  This verse talks about the city of Jerusalem, which was a thriving city because of the power of God. Most cities to thrive, they need to have abundant agriculture and access to water.  Jerusalem had no river, but it had God, which is more than we need in any situation.  So, when you look down at this wrap on your wrist, I pray that you realize where your power truly lies and that is in Jesus means you will not and cannot fail.

You can grab this design in various colors, but if you don’t like any of the color options, you can customize the wrap when the line launches in May.

Girl, Get up!

The following design is a God-inspired inspiration. I was preparing to teach from the story of Jairus’ daughter. Jairus was a Pharisee who at the time was known to disprove Jesus. But Jairus sought Jesus to revive his dead daughter.

Before we were believers, we were our souls. We were dead from sins, but we were brought back to life through the miracles of Jesus’ death and resurrection.  Jesus did this for Jairus’ daughter.  Mark 5:35-41 says,

While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader.“Your daughter is dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher anymore?” Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, Don’t be afraidjust believe.” He did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James and John the brother of James. When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw a commotion, with people crying and wailing loudly. He went in and said to them, Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep.” But they laughed at him. After he put them all out, he took the child’s father and mother and the disciples who were with him, and went in where the child was. He took her by the hand and said to her, Talitha koum!” (which means Little girlI say to youget up!”).

The revival of Jesus is real.  When you feel like your soul is dead, or your faith is sleeping, or you need a reminder of the power of God.  This wrap is a reminder that Jesus has to power to overcome all things. Even death!

You can grab this design in various colors, but if you don’t like any of the color options, you can customize the wrap when the line launches in May.

Be Strong

This Scripture is popular in the faith and fitness community, but it is exegesis sometimes. In the Bible, all parts are essential.

Joshua 1:9 says,

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Joshua’s successor was Moses. He had served Moses for 40 years and was trusted to take the people of Israelites into the promised land.  But after, enduring 40 years in the wilderness was intimidating.  It also shows in verse 5 that Joshua was afraid he would overtake.  But the Lord reminds Joshua to “be strong and courageous” in verse 6, and the Lord will never leave nor forsake you.

We often are afraid of the unknown.  When anything is unfamiliar, uncomfortable, or new, we rest in comfort. I pray that this wrap not only reminds you that your strength lies in the Lord, and when you listen to the Lord and be strong and courageous, you will overcome and have the true victory.

You can grab this design in various colors, but if you don’t like any of the color options, you can customize the wrap when the line launches in May.

I can do all things through Christ.

If we call on the Lord, will we get supernatural strength and be able to lift cars off the ground and do amazing strength feats- if it’s in the Lord’s will.  God is sovereign, meaning He has all the power over everything, unlike the villain in a movie. God does not abuse His power. He only uses it for our good.  But as believers, we can tap into that power through the Holy Spirit.

Paul wrote this letter to the Corinth church to give them hope, guidance, and directions. Philippians 4:13 is a reminder of where our power lives, which is in Jesus, and when we unite with Him, we will have the supernatural strength we need to overcome.  God is good like that. When we walk in His will, we can do anything.  How powerful is that? I hope this wrap reminds you to tap into the strength of the Lord.

You can grab this design in various colors, but if you don’t like any of the color options, you can customize the wrap when the line launches in May.

Jesus Never Quit On Me

This wrap is near and dear to my heart.  Early in my weight loss journey, a friend gave me a silicone band that said, “Jesus never quit on me,” and I rarely took it off.  My story is that before Jesus came into my life, I was a serial quitter. I quit everything but my marriage, and I probably would have quit that too soon if it wasn’t for Jesus.  When I recommitted my life to the Lord, I wanted to show up in all aspects as if I was working for the Lord.  That conviction changed my work ethic, dedication, and discipline.  Despite the Lord redeeming my quitter spirit, I often want to give up and hide.  Then I look down at my wrist and remember that Jesus never quit on me. He endured carrying the cross and didn’t quit. He stumbled, he fell, but Jesus continued to take the cross that He would die for me. Suppose the Lord could endure torture and trudge on so that I may be saved. Even on those days, I want to quit. I can’t because I am reminded of the promise of the Lord. Part of my bondage comes from abandonment and knowing that I have a heavenly Father no matter what I do, say, my mistakes. He will never leave me nor forsake me.  I sometimes need to meditate on the promise because there is no one in this world I can say the same, but I know Jesus will NEVER QUIT ON ME!

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. Hebrews 13:5-6

You can grab this design in various colors, but if you don’t like any of the color options, you can customize the wrap when the line launches in May.

Fear Not

So do not fear, for I am with you;do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Fear comes when we try to do things on our own and not seek God.  It’s an instinct for our safety when we are acting without the provision and protection of the Lord.  God is our protector. We do not have to fear; we don’t have to walk this earth in fear or anxiety.  The Lord is there to protect us.  This wrap is a reminder to stop living for and by ourselves and come under the protection of the Lord and live for Him-fearless.

You can grab this design in various colors, but if you don’t like any of the color options, you can customize the wrap when the line launches in May.

Faith Over Fear

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

My faith has fueled my journey. The actions I take today are to support and uncertain tomorrow.  I can have faith because I trust and assurance that it will be done if it is the Lord’s will.  That is what has fueled me over the years and continues to challenge me to try uncomfortable things that may result in the Lord’s glory.

The New Faith Collection by Momentum Jewelry

I am so proud of the Faith Line by Momentum Jewelry designed by FaithFueled Mom. I never in a million years thought I would design a faith-based athletic jewelry collection, but here we are witnessing through fitness one wrist at a time.  There are also footnotes which are inspirational plates you can place on your shoelaces to encourage your runs. If you ever participated in the walking challenge with me, you can be inspired while talking to Jesus while workshopping and walking.

This is an early release of this new collection. They are available for pre-sell.  Use code PRAISEPLANK22 for a discount. When you buy one, take a photo, and share it on Facebook and Instagram. Thank you, Lord, for all the fantastic opportunities you have given me to share His glory.

I’d love to know what you think. Comment below your favorite wrap design.
