From wishing to doing
Sick and tired of being sick and tired
In August 2015, I decided that I was sick and tired. I was a hundred and five pounds overweight, a mother of three, and desperate for change. Everything began to change when I stopped scrolling and wishing, when I began to live out loud and stop holding myself back.
Opportunities that I never thought could happen to me; did. I have also changed over the years inside and out. But this change had to begin with me surrendering to God.
I had to put in the extra credit. Do the uncomfortable things. Be the girl “being good” at the functions. It wasn’t fun or easy, but it can be done. When I lost, my excuses is where I found my results. When I stopped living for convenience and started living out of purpose is when I found my motivation. Resting in comfort is a poor excuse not to honor your temple.
I was a Stay at Home Mom for over 12 years. When I started my fitness journey I never imagined where it would take me. I just wanted to be skinny. Then one day my own desires became an ambition to help others. I fell in love with living a healthy lifestyle and sharing fitness and wellness. In April 2016, I went back to school to get my Fitness & Exercise Science Degree.
