Yesterday, we talked about the anticipation of Immanuel, Our Savior to be born. What does it mean for Christ to be born? Since we already have seen the effects of his birth, this is not a trick question but mostly a question to insight, “Why are we celebrating Christmas?” I think modern day society we take the conveniences of life for granted. Often taking and never considering how it was given to us and why. Salvation is often taken for granted which I feel disappointing. We were given salvation through the birth and death of Christ and too often once we accept Christ we feel like that is a confirmation of our place in eternity...

12th Day of Fitmas

The Christmas Season is in full swing and despite my efforts to have a stress free, merry holiday I find myself getting caught up in the wrong reasons for this Holiday Cheer.  In the last few weeks, I have seen “12 Days of Fitmas Challenges” popping up all over my social media.  Never did I see anyone address the reason for the season. Now, I know with the various beliefs not everyone is celebrating the Holiday Season for the birth of Christ but this girl is and I couldn’t think of anything better than taking care of our temples at the same time. Carving out 30 minutes a day to reflect on God’s word to anticipate the birth of Christ and relieve some stress through a 15 minute physical activity.  That’s something that I couldn’t find, so, I made my own!
